Biggest Events for Esports Betting in July

Without further ado, here are the seven biggest esports events you can bet on this July:

IEM XVII Cologne

This is it as far as the first half of the 2022 CSGO calendar is concerned. Intel Extreme Masters Cologne is the final event before the players’ summer break. It’s a behemoth, though, featuring not just the prize pool but the number of participating teams, and the tournament format of a CSGO Major Championship.

As such it was always going to have the best teams in the world. NaVi, ENCE, Faze, Cloud9 – they’re all set to participate in one of the biggest CSGO events this year. The Lanxess Arena will be the venue of choice for live coverage of the playoffs. But, last time I checked the tickets were all sold out.

The action starts on July 5th and will last all the way through July 17th. The final stage, the one that’ll be played in front of a live audience in Lanxess Arena, is set to start on July 15th.

As for the favorites, everyone expects NaVi and Faze to play in the grand finals. The Stockholm Major winners up against the Antwerp Major winners – if we see them square off in the grand finals in Cologne, it’s going to be one heck of a bo5 clash, that’s for sure!

VCT Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen

The next big Valorant Champions Tour competition is just around the corner. The second stage Masters, which is going to be held in Copenhagen Denmark, is scheduled to start on July 10th. It’s set to feature twelve teams and pan all the way through July 24th.

At the moment, we don’t have exact numbers for the prize pool. But, if previous iterations are a good indicator of what to expect, the VCT Stage 2 Masters in Copenhagen is going to have between $600,000 and $700,000 in prize money.

The Stage 1 Masters in Reykjavik was held in April and finished with OpTic taking the title. This time around, we’re expecting a proper race for the title, with four teams intertwined at the very top.

Unfortunately, online bookmakers still don’t have concrete outright winner bets for this tournament. But, given it size and importance, VCT Stage 2 Masters is definitely among the best events for esports betting in July 2022.

Gamers8 2022

One of the biggest Rocket Leagues competitions this year, Gamers8, is scheduled for July too. That said, if you’re looking for proper opportunities for esports betting in July, they won’t come any more charming than this one.

We’re looking at a highly lucrative event here – $2 million is on stake in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We already know that the tournament will have to stages (groups and playoffs) and 24 participants in total. However, we only know a portion of them.

It’s not a big deal, though, especially know that there are still more than two weeks to go before the kickoff. More precisely, the action starts on July 14th and will last through July 17th.

G2 and Faze Clan are among the heavy favorites, though more challengers are bound to pop up in the coming days. There are still ten empty spots that are going to be filled with invitees.

CDL 2022 Stage 4 Major

Even though the Call of Duty League is far from the hit its makers thought it would be, it still has an admirable esports presence. There are lots of tournaments left and right and it’s a generally healthy ecosystem with new players coming in and electric fans eagerly waiting for the next big tournament.

One such specimen is coming right up. The Stage 4 Major is set to start on July 21st and will be played in the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn. There’s $500,000 in prize money, which isn’t half bad for CDL standards.

Twelve teams are set to compete in a double-elimination bracket packed with best-of-five matches. No worries, the grand finals are set for a massive b09 encounter that’s bound to exceed everyone’s expectations.

Several Big FIFA Events

FIFA esports events are coming in hot, with a whopping number of events scheduled for this July. The lack of a conventional World Cup this summer means soccer enthusiasts will have a lot of free time… in comes FIFA with their virtual soccer to satisfy everyone involved.

In total, there are four notable FIFA events coming this July. They are as follows:

  • FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs (July 1st through July 3rd)
  • FIFAe World Cup 2022 (July 14th through July 17th)
  • FIFAe Club World Cup 2022 (July 20th through July 23rd)
  • FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 (July 27th through July 30th)

Over to You

That practically wraps up our piece on the best events for esports betting in July 2022. As you could’ve seen, the numbers are massive. All esports are equally represented, which means we won’t have a lot of breathing space next month. Esports betting isn’t experiencing issues with the ongoing heat wave. Events are going strong left and right, and the only thing we’re left to do is to get a couple of winning bets in.
